With over 140 years of existence, Colegiul National ,,Spiru Haret” Tulcea, is the oldest school in Dobrogea, having its headquarters in a monumental building which is part of the Unesco patrimony. Our vision is tradition and performance, building pathways to both academic and social and emotional success for our students through providing them opportunities to learn and grow in a positive school culture.We develop an inclusive ethos based on collaboration and space for all voices involved in education. Our European experience: we are an UNESCO associated school, accredited Erasmus+ school(2021-2027), eTwinning school, EPAS School(European Parliament Ambassador School), ECDL Computer Driving License Center, Centre of assessment for the Cambridge examination of English we have a department that prepares students for the DELF international examination. CNSH is a local pillar in education since 19th century.

We preserve our history, tradition, exceptional results gained at national and international level in our own school museum. We organise every year "Gala premiilor de excelenta" rewarding our exceptional students and teachers. Extra curricular activities: Media Education Club as part of " EU Voices Club", Erasmus+ joint teams,Robotics Club "Epsilon", Smart Lab -advanced educational creative technology, Debate Club, EPAS School (European Parliament Ambassador School), Students’ Council, 2 school magazines, 2 theatrical groups, a Literary Club, Creative writing club, chorus, Sports Club, Oracle partner, 3D Hub printing point.
